Accomodation & Prices
You can choose from three accommodation options on each of our winter tours. Please note the comfort categories . We have something suitable for both winter beginners and adventure seekers. Accommodations are assigned based on availability and your personal preferences when you make a booking request. We only accept bookings via email. The date your email is received determines your priority on the booking list. All winter tours are limited to a maximum of six participants to ensure an authentic experience with our dogs.
1. The cabin (Category: Normal Comfort)
For 2 people, single beds, tiny cabin with air-source heat pump, electricity, wood-burning stove, small kitchenette, en-suite shower and toilet. Includes all the amenities of a Central European standard, but a fire must still be lit on cold days.
For cabin bookings: +110 € one-time additional charge.
2. The Panorama Tipi . (Category: Basic Off-Grid)
For 2 people, double bed, no running water but a small kitchenette with a drinking water canister and sink. Basic electricity for charging phones, etc., outdoor toilet, wood-burning stove, gas cooktop, and the only washing facility is in the traditional wood-fired sauna. A boiler is located above the wood-burning sauna stove to heat the water (50-second walk to the sauna). We will, of course, show you everything you need to know about making a fire and using the sauna/washing facilities. The tipi is a stepping stone to completely off-grid living, but still offers enough comfort to spend the night without a sleeping bag and with regular bedding.
3. The yurt (Category: Outdoor Off-Grid)
For 2 people, double bed, no running water, outdoor toilet, wood-burning stove for heating, washing facilities in the traditional wooden sauna (5-minute walk to the sauna). It is an insulated winter tent (approx. 20 sq m). Bed linen and winter sleeping bags are provided. Suitable even for beginners , IF you are willing to fully immerse yourself in this nature experience. We will instruct you on how to use the yurt, make a fire, and use the sauna (washing in the sauna, etc.). Depending on the outside temperature at the time of your stay, it can be below freezing if you don't regularly use the wood-burning stove (which also serves as a storage heater). The yurt is a 5-minute walk from the camp and offers a completely private retreat and nature experience.
A word about the prices
We understand that we operate in the luxury segment of the travel industry.
But it's about a great deal of luxury:
We offer unique experiences with living beings, with dogs.
No mass tours, no 10-minute rides, no large groups.
We are small, completely personalized, respect our guests' wishes,
and offer daily experiences, as well as constant availability.
In addition, behind the "dog sledding" experience lies 24/7 care for our animals, all year round, without a break. We can't simply park the dogs over the summer and bring them out again for winter use. Our dogs and the special free-range environment
in which they live to meet their social needs are very demanding.
In terms of care and upkeep. And that's exactly the price you pay
when you book a tour with us.
1. Die Hütte (Kategorie: Einsteiger Hüttenleben. +110 € einmalig)
