Acoomodation category
When you visit our wilderness camp, you can choose from 3 accommodations. Please note the comfort categories. For wilderness beginners, adventure seekers or outdoor experts: we have the right thing for you. We only accept bookings via email. The date your email is received is decisive for priority in the booking list.
1. The Cabin (category: normal comfort)
For 2-4 people, single beds (bunk beds), bedroom and living room are one room. Tiny cabin with heat pump, electricity, fireplace, small kitchenette, internal shower and toilet. Contains all the amenities of the Central European standard but a fire still has to be made on cold days.
2. The Tepee (category: Basic Off-Grid)
For 2 people, mezzanine double bed in front of a panoramic window, no running water but a small kitchenette with a drinking water canister and sink. Basic electricity for charging a telephone or similar, outdoor toilet, fireplace, gas hob, only washing facility in the traditional wooden sauna. There is a boiler above the wood-fired sauna oven to heat the water (walk to the sauna: 50 seconds). We will of course show you everything about making a fire and using the sauna/washing. The tepee is the precursor to completely off-grid living, but still offers enough comfort to be able to spend the night without a sleeping bag and with normal bed linen.
3. The yurt (caategory: Outdoor Off-Grid)
For 2 people, double bed, no running water, outdoor toilet, stove for heating, washing facilities in the traditional wooden sauna (walking distance to the sauna: 5 minutes). It is an insulated winter tent (approx. 20 sqm2). The yurt can only be reached on foot over a slope (beaten path). Bed linen and winter sleeping bags are provided. Also suitable for inexperienced people, IF you are willing to fully immerse yourself in this nature experience. We will show you how to use the yurt, make a fire and use the sauna (washing in the sauna, etc.). Depending on the outside temperature at the time of your stay, it can also be below zero if you do not light the stove (which also serves as a storage heater) from time to time. The yurt is a 5-minute walk from the camp and offers a completely private retreat and nature experience.
