Our guests often ask how many dogs we have.

The answer "36" is usually followed by an appreciative nod.

Shortly afterwards we point out that we are a relatively small husky farm: "Well, somehow we are not even a real farm", one of us says.

In general, we contradict the classic cliché of a tourism company. We are this little wilderness camp where "mouth to mouth"

Propaganda actually still works.

We are not an exclusive insider tip that is only open to selected, wealthy groups nor are we overrun by mass tourists.

The truth is, we are probably somewhere in between.

A place where EVERYONE can feel at home. In the midst of animals that we love from the first to the last day. With a way of life that is based on sustainability and focused on the

Protection of nature & animals .

Authenticity is something that cannot be sold. That's why you won't find an advertising slogan here that does justice to our inner drive for a life in balance - in the last wilderness of Europe.

Just come by & ask us personally

about our view of life!

Nomadic Naali

And after these words

here are a few facts about our philosophy:

Our pack of 36 dogs lives permanently together in an outdoor enclosure of 15,000 square meters. Depending on the situation
(Heat, new dogs, stubborn males, etc ...) we have the option of separating the dogs according to their needs. No dog is permanently forced into a group in which it does not feel comfortable. But they have one thing in common: the dogs stay with us until the end of their days.

About half of our dogs are second-hand.
This means we have taken them over from other farms, animal welfare organizations, animal shelter or confiscations. So every dog character has its own story (and related sensitivities).
Every dog requires a different approach to socialization training.

The guest facilities in the huts (from biodegradable garbage bags to sustainable dishwashers) are deliberately designed for sustainability. The whole camp is operated with a critical view of the following points:
Waste cycle, material recovery, regional & seasonal food,

recycling instead of buying new.

Next step is switching to insect-based energy food for the dogs.

So no other animal has to suffer in industrial production.

For future food safety (and food for the dogs), chicken, pigs and yaks are living here as well. Take a look at the "Pack Life" page.
